My first "official" online recovery meeting was a success! I had 8 people that showed up and we went a little over an hour. Most of the meetings average about 4-5 participants, so I was very pleased. If any of you are ever interested in joining our group, just drop me a PM for details.

Feel better Mags! Yuck!

Glad the meeting went well FBL. It was strange having eyes with differing visions and color perceptions between surgeries, plus I had to use my old glasses for awhile. New glasses will make a lot of difference.

Sassy, I tried the lens-popping trick with my spare pair of glasses. Just doesn't seem to work for me. I'm sure they will get me fitted properly for new lenses soon. They want everything to "settle" before doing it. Should be by the end of the month for sure.

Good morning Overs. Sort of a big day for me, gotta a interview with a big commercial construction company that's building a power plant right here at home. Won't pay the big money like the boilermaker jobs do but it's gonna last for about a year and a half so should be good enough.
