Thanks Dee!

Morning Overs:wavey:

We’ve thunderstorms forecast so hopefully it will clear this oppressive air.

Have a good Tuesday, my friends xx

Itchy 06-24-2019 10:23 PM

Sassy,
Yes, the prairie dogs and ground squirrels carry plague. When one of them dies, their fleas abandon the dead ship/body and climb on the nearest animal. So we stay away from dead ones and crazy ones.

Star,

Colorado is simply exciting and invigorating. You don't just live there - you LIVE there.

Mags,
Yes I finished as the rain started to pour down. We got severe winds last night and a big limb fell off a large oak in the front yard, so I had a morning clean up to do.

Mags1 06-24-2019 10:39 PM

Oh wow Itchy, the snow picture of Colorado is beautiful and breathtaking!
Pleased no real harm done by the storms, except one of big oaks limbs. What’s the vultures gonna sit on now!

Treerat66 06-24-2019 11:37 PM

Good morning Overs.

Dee, thank you for the new part. :You_Rock_

We have some serious cloud cover this morning, needed lights on to see my breakfast. :lmao

Have a good day everyone.

FBL 06-25-2019 03:24 AM

Thanks, Dee!

Got our new book in yesterday. We have over 1,000 to send out this week! Life is good. :)

Have a Terrific Tuesday, overs!

Saskia 06-25-2019 06:46 AM

Thanks, Dee.

Itchy, hard to believe snow in Colorado at this point in the year. We have finally had early summer weather this past weekend with temps ranging from 65 to 83 during the day.

Have a good day to all!

stargazer016 06-25-2019 07:08 AM

Great news with the new book FBL.

You can keep the snow your way Itchy.

Enjoy the day all!

Itchy 06-25-2019 11:30 AM

Mags!
Too funny! Vultures tearing the limbs off trees! Everywhere in Colorado is breathtaking. Sorry not brag, just fact. Snow wise, here is why:

"This elevation map of Colorado illustrates the number of feet or meters the state rises above sea level. As you can see, all of Colorado resides at over 2,000 feet above sea level. The Great Plains cover the eastern 2/5 of the state. The Rocky Mountains run north to south through the central part of the state.

At a mean elevation of 6,800 feet above seal level, Colorado has the highest mean altitude of the 50 states.

Colorado's low point, 3,315 feet above sea level at the Arikaree River in Yuma County, is the highest low point in the nation and is higher than 18 state high points.

The highest point in Colorado, Mount Elbert at 14,440 feet above sea level in Lake County, is also the highest point in the Rocky Mountains and the second highest point in the Continental United States. It's located in the Sawatch Range in the western-central part of the state about 20 miles east of Aspen."

Andy,
Us too but the storms aren't raining here, they are in a circle all around here, but not over us? Click on Microsoft weather in the start menu and go to Princeton LA 71067 and click on the radar symbol. Very weird weather here!

Paul,
That shouldn't be all you get today.:c011:

Sassy,
Re snow see the above. I miss four seasons, where summer weather is not 105° with 75% humidity. Enjoy! Sassy my favorite fishing lake is an alpine lake in a mountain crest that is inaccessibly snow bound until late July and in August has four foot snowbanks under the pine's shade.

Star,
Thanks, I will keep as much snow as mother nature sends my way.. Bear in mind it melts off the roads as soon as the sun comes out and everything is dry within 48 hours. And warm again. I've seen 55° in July in the Springs, and 75 degree Christmas' too. So winter isn't always, and either is summer. And the dry climate moderates both cold and heat. :c041:

Well the first appointment hasn't come to fruition yet, hope it picks up soon. I'm heading out to go see some of the damage from the storms yesterday. Mine was an easy cleanup. I just piled it all on the burn pile.

Bye!

FBL 06-25-2019 01:13 PM

Itch, your gift brought tears of joy to my eyes. Thanks again (and check out the avi)!

Itchy 06-25-2019 01:27 PM

YW my old friend. Another great AVI

Mags1 06-25-2019 09:36 PM

Hiya Overs:wave:

Itchy, there’s so much space in Colorado, well in USA too! We’re just a tiny island in the U.K. that would get lost in your country. I don’t expect it feels any different being in whatever size country we’re in I guess? :dunno: that’s my thought for today, :biglaugh:

FBL Congratulations on getting your book sales out, I’m sure the orders will keep on coming. :)

We’re having some summer here at the weekend, so the forecast says, and next week too! It’ll be nice to see some sunshine....wonder how long before they’re saying there’s a water shortage! :lmao:

Have a good Wednesday, my friends. xx

Treerat66 06-25-2019 11:48 PM

Good morning Overs.

Itchy, very strange.

I have a family of starlings https://www.rspb.org.uk/birds-and-wi...-a-z/starling/ camped out on one of my bird feeders, squabbly things. I'll have to get another feeder for the other birds. DD has just counted 15 starlings.

Have a good day everyone.

Mags1 06-26-2019 02:07 AM

They’re so greedy Andy, the starlings and there’s always lots of them when they arrive squabbling like little children! Lol

Canadian Koala 06-26-2019 02:56 AM

Thanks Dee :wavey:

Hello Overs! ☼

Saskia 06-26-2019 04:52 AM

Mags, in spite of the big size of the US, most of us, I think, associate ourselves with whatever state we live in. It’s a bit like the European Union, I think.

Have a great day, Overs!

Mags1 06-26-2019 11:28 PM

Hiya Overs:wave:

Sass, yeah you’re right. Thing is we live in our own world and circle, it always fascinates me the size of it all. Mr.M has been talking too much about the universe to me, it’s rubbing off! :lmao

Hope you’re all well my friends, have a good Thursday xx

Treerat66 06-26-2019 11:37 PM

Good morning Overs.

Sunny morning here.

Have a good day everyone.

tootsl1 06-27-2019 12:01 AM

You too Andy.

Mags1 06-27-2019 01:12 AM
