Tempted. .. but I'm trying to stay strong. Husband is being shady and slept all day and just now took off with no explanation. My first thought was "f*** this, I need a drink" I know I need to stay sober for me, and me only.

Yep, you come right here to SR whenever 24/7 , to get it off your chest, to know we hear ya & understand. BTW, to this day, when I'm low, I watch an episode or more of Lucy. She's never let me down.

24h on Sunday 14th (Woohooo just realised) im 90 days away from 6 years see them 90 days add up fassssssst no ego just nearly 6 years scratching my head like wow im really doing this still - there is no better version of myself except the man who stands in front of you today it feels so good there are serious hard and dark days but life throws them at us anyway. Better to be what you know your true self to be and its not in your head you are that person recovery is awesome ppl do it different with plans programs non programs you name it were in recovery some will say im recovered some will cook with alcohol there are so many ways to do this but for me it started with daily reminders that i needed help and couldnt do it alone i needed help

I am officially on vacation for the next two weeks. Started my first day of vacation watching my oldest daughter run at a track invitational, she came in second in the 800, and had a new PR, she ran the mile a little later with tired legs and finished fourth, and only three seconds off of her PR. Next weekend she qualified to run the Twi mile invite at Mt Sac relays, which is really hard to get into, so that will be fun.
Can’t remember if I posted after my other daughter’s swim finals, it she did fantastic. Went home with three first place medals.
Had to take my car in yesterday, and it cost $1350 to fix. The good news is it is now safe to drive again.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend, congrats to all celebrating a milestone!
