24 this Sunday morning. Ran nearly four miles yesterday, first time since my foot surgery four weeks ago. Happy to report no real pain or issues except my stamina has taken a hit!

Hi Venus! Hope a good day is in store for everyone.

Gosh honey, I took years and years and years to get this....the amount of times I went back to AA or NA and said here I am....again....not one person ever said: well it took you too long, so off you go, no seat for you.

There is always a spot for everyone here.....and every single one of us knows what it is like to go through the pain of doing this to ourselves over and over....and no one judges you. All I am thinking is how brave you are: you NEVER give up. That's a wonderful trait my friend.

LOVE you. ♥♥♥

Since I love to cook, thought I'd treat y'all to a Sunday morning breakfast. And you know what they say, breakfast is good for any meal of the day!

Aye aye to that, and any thing will do for breakfast ---just had two chimichangas with cheese and sour cream.

In for 24 at 0732.

PHOENIX looks like the hand is better? Not a lot of swelling?

just like yesterday and the day before it is the best day to stay sober for

will be checking in throughout.

Just got back from walking one of the dogs, another cup of coffee and making list for grocery store run, all things I wouldn't be doing if I was drinking. Life is good. Wishing everyone a great sober day.

Well, that was embarrassing. We went for a walk along the beach earlier and then stopped at a cafe for hot chocolate. The cafe is extremely dog friendly so we took the dog in and found somewhere to sit. The people at the table next to us had the most amazing looking dog with them. It actually looked more like a bear than a dog. It was huge and had the most incredible, mesmerising eyes. It looked really serene and wise, especially compared to our crazy lab who couldn't believe his luck at being allowed inside a cafe. My husband went off to order the hot chocolates and more people came into the cafe. Each and every one of them headed straight over to bear dog because it's not every day you see a wise, dignified bear .... Soon a crowd of people were surrounding bear dog taking photos and petting him. That's when my dog started to get jealous and manic. He started running up to everyone wagging his tail and barking. I can't translate barks but I'm fairly certain he was saying, 'look at me! Look at me! I may not look like a bear but I'm still gorgeous. Give me some attention. Take my photo. I'm cute too!' I was trying to get him to calm down when my husband reappeared with a tray of hot chocolate, the excited dog acted like he hadn't seen my husband for years, jumped up at my husband and yes..... Hot chocolate ended up all over the floor. The worst part was, as we were trying to help the lovely cafe staff clear it all up, our dog knew he was in trouble so looked guilty but couldn't help sneaking a few licks of hot chocolate off the floor. And all of this was watched by wise bear dog who maintained his poise and composure throughout. I'm going to try to remember to channel wise bear dog next time I'm behaving like a crazed attention-seeking lab! Love to everyone and 24 more for me please xxxx
