Congratulations!
nmd ~ 2 months! ♥
abcowboy ~ 4 years & 2 months! ♥

Need to start the morning over after I eat...slept enough just not continuous.
Yay big patches of grass after yesterday's rain.

Urges to smoke come fast and often but don't last more than a few seconds. Nothing is worth smoking about.

Pizza yah pizza.

Ah yes, this is a beautiful thing to be grateful for! I hope you feel better and that your son does not have it.

These last 2 days I have been so filled with gratitude that I have been brought to tears. My connection with Source is growing each day, as I do my step work and hand my addictions over the the Spirit of the Universe. I am so glad I am done trying to manage my food addition on my own. That was the problem all these years- thinking I could do it on willpower alone!

Sending love and Reiki to all of you. I am here for 24 more hours of freedom from alcohol and compulsive overeating.

Had to go to the eye hospital earlier for my 6 month check up. Whilst I was waiting to see the doctor I looked through a pile of magazines for something to read and found a fascinating article in an old New Scientist magazine from 2016. The article was called 'Last Days of Earth' and wow! The more time I spend sober the more I realise how little I know!! I had no idea that since it's birth 4.6 billion years ago, the sun is now 30 times hotter and denser. This means that in 7 billion years, earth will be no more. It will be engulfed by the sun. Is this common knowledge?? Am I the only person who didn't know this? It's fascinating isn't it? It makes me feel so grateful to be on this planet now, whilst there's still mountains and continents and seasons. It makes me love this planet even more...knowing that it won't be here forever. It's kind of incredible being part of the great mystery of life. When I went in to see the doctor, I asked him whether he knew that the sun would engulf the earth in 7 billion years. He said that he had heard something about it but he was more concerned with what's going on today. He then checked my eyes and was amazed to see that even though I am taking no steroids or immunosuppressants or any medication at all, my autoimmune condition appears to be completely under control. In fact, my vision is improving. And that shouldn't be happening, apparently. I told him I think it's because I don't drink alcohol anymore. He seemed very interested in that. In fact, he was more interested in the possible link between sobriety and my improved vision than he was in the fate of the planet.

Love to everyone, congratulations to everyone celebrating a milestone today and 24 more for me please xxxx

I am also more interested in any link between removing alcohol and healing...I had bone tumors in my hand that were supposed to be far worse than they were....I was supposed to have a finger amputated a long time ago....

.....we are miracles. I know you are one. And I am VERY happy for you honey. ♥♥
