Hi guys. Quick check in towards the end of the day. Went to a cool light and music show event at the Desert Botanical Gardens.

I actually got the pencil and sketch paper out yesterday, just a couple of cartoon characters that I like but it's therapeutic...."arty stuff" as PJ calls it

Well, yesterday sucked big time......can't go into details (will explain in a PM if you like). And now it is dark for another hour and a half. Only thing saving me is coffee.

Quiet day for me. Yesterday- a friend from recovery program (who isn't recovering) asked me to 'babysit' her, as she had been drinking and was worried may do something silly- very screwed up family of origin. I am careful not to allow myself to be used as a support- to enable people to booze on and feel as if they are getting support for it, but my friend does try very hard to improve her lot- very hard, and is not harming others. I do have boundaries about this sort of stuff- and am very careful.
Exhausting nonetheless- but did all I had to do today- plus pushing a bit more...when I get very tired- my fried bits hurt more. Lots of fresh fruit and raw vegies in a wrap helped.
