Madly in love with my staycation! I haven't been home in ages, it seems. Haven't had time to think, meditate, read, sleep..do little house projects, it's perfect. . Needed to nest a bit. Heading to the salon in a bit to do something unusual with my crazy hair.
24 please--holiday times are so much easier when sober. I've been in a good mood..even a little mushy lately which is a nice contrast to being an unhappy alcoholic...WHY did I always think it could somehow made me happy? Oh, maybe because the tv ad campaigns with people elegantly dancing to dramatic piano music and seeing galaxies (why aren't they staggering and vomiting?) whilst pounding some bourbon or whatever were stunningly effective...

I have been talking to people about taking your own drinks to everything....and maybe extras so that other people who don't want to drink don't have to.....something like cranberry juice and sparkling mineral water....and....why not go a bit further and make a jug of lovely cranberry and mineral with ice and put it in the fridge....why can't we have our own lovely drinks? We can....and we can enjoy them and still go on with our evenings/days and feel FANTASTIC.
