Just had a visit with my nurse. She clarified the instructions with the doctor. I just took the second of the Lasix pills today, Barring unforeseen side effects, I’ll take my final one tomorrow.
If it really does the job knocking out fluid, I will then go to the pharmacy to pick up a regular prescription for it.
So now I wait!

I just lost an edit. Today the nurse measured me for compression hose.
To my vain T-shirt and cut-off 26-y-o self, this seems like the ninth circle of hell—but the truth is, I hear that they’re godsends. Everybody from my daughters when they’re pregnant to my friend who works on her feet all day everyday on an airplane just loves the relief of compression hose.
She’ll bring them over Thursday. I feel like I’m getting a new toy!

hi Kathy,
many printers have a scanning function...you could use that to just copy the letter in its original size.
if that is not available, one of your family members likely has one or can take it to the library and simply photocopy it for twenty cents or so.
so glad to hear your legs are better and you are soon getting a new toy

Hi Kathy, sure hope the compression hose works for you along with the Lasix. Praying for your comfort today and you have a wonderful day. Good to hear from you this morning and we don't care about typos, my love.
All my love, hugs, and prayers going to you, my wonderful friend. ♥♥♥

My favourite hymn sung by my favourite choir. I hope you enjoy this, Kathy. I mean, come on, I brought the Mormon Tabernacle Choir to SR to sing just for you.

Kathy I wear compression stockings when I exercise, take long walks, know I'll be standing or when flying.
They are a true game changer and I feel like Wonder Woman when I have them on ! There are various compression levels and tips for putting them on, so I'm sure your hospice nurse will help you with that.
I hope they bring you relief.
