Must agree Kathy, heard that tune umpteen times never knew what it was called. I know it isn’t but almost reminds me of 007 bond movies! Love cat Stevens too. Especially ‘hard headed woman’ brill music then again aren’t all his good.

So pleased meal with SIL went well, despite the power tools! hope you had a good rested night xx

Lots of love xx

Thank you guys.

Free, the hospital bed is just in a spare bedroom. It just feels isolated. In reality it probably won't be that bad. It was just a shock the first time I got in it.

Did you save any crabcakes for breakfast? (I'm guessing not.)

I hope you have a lovely day!

My daughters dropped by unexpectedly today because they wanted to “give me something.”

It is a large, hardbound book (specially printed by Shutterfly) filled with personal pictures and comments called Letters to Mom.. I am incredibly moved and utterly delighted!

Tonight we’re having a giant party at our house. Hopefully it’ll be fun, but I’m a little tired.

It's okay to be tired, Kathy. And to take rest when you need it. Taking a nap is something that can recharge us, sick or not, so grab what you can.

That Shutterfly book sounds so thoughtful and lovely.

Have fun tonight.

One depressing moment: my glasses were smudged today so I took them off to clean them. My husband clearly saw my eyes not focusing together.

I’m bummed out that it’s to the point where it can be noticed.

Aw.

I hope you rally a little bit but if not that's okay too.

Naps are good.

Books made specially for Mom are really good.

It sounds like you raised a loving family. That says a lot about you.

If the party wears you out, tell them you have a date with your recliner

not to make light of it Gilmer but my eyes have always been that way without glasses - we can be wonky eye twins
