Can you do some things to make that room a little warmer? Like put something that can play some nice classical music...when Bubba and I both had cancer surgeries we found that focusing on the notes of classical music kept our minds from wandering to dark places.

Or maybe a two way speaker/walkie talkie/communicator that will let you speak to him, or him to you when you sleep apart?

Or...doncha just love it when I keep adding "stuff"?...fresh flowers each day or a pretty plant in the window or a bird feeder right outside the window?

OR...a photo album you can ponder through, and a note pad so you can jot notes that you think of while in that room...and maybe a scented candle but only burn it when you are sitting two feet on the ground or someone else is there to put it out. NO smoking in bed and no candles left unattended while in bed, no matter how awake you feel.

Anyway, those are a few ideas.

Oh...and some inspirational, uplifting books.

^ I was just wondering, is there any inspiration you can use, Gilmer, from 'Cousin Helen' and What Katy Did to make your room the "heart of the house"?

These ideas all sound great. I will look into the sources you mentioned, Caramel.

I am slowly but surely turning it into my own little clubhouse!

Thank you, Bob!

We had dinner with a couple who is just infectious fun! I was so tired and dreary at the prospect of going out, but I got totally pumped by the time we left!

Time for bed now.

I really love you guys.

Wow, Kathy, 27 thousand ,

Can you have a crisp, gorgeous duvet cover on your bed, luxurious pillows and maybe some cushions, for your slumber party

If I was to visit your slumber party, I’d bring some of the most gorgeous sausages I had from marks and Spencer’s with a honey glaze, they were mourish, and a cigar or two, too!
