Good afternoon all. We have been on the road most of the day on our way to our little holiday. Meeting my sister and parents tomorrow. A family seaside break hurrah! Still feels great to be totally unmoved by the drinking of others. I'd much rather have a nice coffee or iced water and stay present thank you! Lots of love to everyone ❤❤❤

I have been going to AlAnon, Plenny! It has been very helpful. I was surprised to see how many meetings there are in this small area.

Yeah i have been to some meetings but it’s been a while I should really go back

Still Trying to Quit!

I noticed that I joined this site in 2014! I still struggle -- still want to quit. I've wasted years. I pray I don't waste anymore. I can't imagine how people do this -- I am alone in this struggle. I am alone period. The alcohol dulls everything - but it destroys everything. It may well destroy me.
