Weekends can be tough, but together we're stronger.
Here are some cool links if you've not seen them before

Hi, I technically started my sober journey in May but only joined this site today so I’m jumping in. I went sober for a couple of months last year and replaced alcohol with Tesco’s luxury triple chocolate chip shortbread! This time I’m trying to go without giving into the sugar cravings. But now I’m thinking of shortbread. 😱

Good morning all ! Please may I join you?
I don't drink every day but when I do drink I drink far too much white wine. After last nights over-drinking again - I've decided that enoughs enough. I have been on this site several times before but I'm back here again on Day 1. Fed up with being in self-destruct mode.

Good morning!! Welcome notsomerry and Susiegirl... I think I remembered right, sorry if not. It’s a yucky morning here, and on top of that I’m feeling yucky. I thought that was behind me a bit but I guess not! Anyway, day 7 is about to begin. Weekend willies I call it, going to occupy every waking moment today so that AV can’t get a word in edgewise. Going to hit a morning meeting and see how the day goes, may hit another later in the day. Wishing all of you a free day today. We can do this, just for today...👆🏻👍🏻🙌🏻
Thanks Dee! I’m surely hitting it hard this go around. I’m 100% in admittance that I’m truly an addict, and that there is where my past shortcomings have tripped me up!! Got a couple years under my belt and fell into that complacent “I can have a couple with no worries... off to the races was the outcome. I’m really tired and still not sleeping well... crazy dreams! Trying to embrace the reset in my brain and this will pass. Have a great support system in place this time around for the first time ever. Dear friends who accept me as I am but are walking alongside me, so I’m blessed for sure. I just need to allow them to help which is a hard go for me... trust issues. Anyway, I’m rambling... thanks for the support here.

Welcome all the new folks!
Today is starting off well. Woke up early and sober. Husband is making breakfast, and then we are going on a road trip with the dog. Feeling good! Hope you all rock the day and stay off the booze.

Hi all, I'd like to join this thread. Joined a couple in the past. This one's gonna stick, got a great feeling about this. Not gonna be easy, but I'm bloody peed off with my AV sabotaging me. Sober living is an amazing gift and I'm not giving up.
Just want to say hello to everyone else who's on this road. Keep on trucking!
Big love June gang xxx

Hello friends, Day 14 for me and Saturday afternoon here. Absolutely no cravings at the moment. I feel seeing bright sunshine kills any desire to do bad stuff.
Also, I am planning to run few miles in the evening and stay sober. Sobriety is beautiful, so much more energy, no brain fog, awesomeness. If anyone is feeling week willed, please post here for support.

I definitely think not, calmself?
Just got back from my road trip: hiking, beach time, etc. It was good. I had some cravings on the ride home because I'm hungry. At the grocery store check out, the woman in front of me was buying scotch whisky blend, and it made me sad. But that's all. I'm not drinking.

Calm... please don’t even go. Way too much temptation all in one place. Even the NA beer has alcohol... your call but it definitely suggest doing the alternative
