Good morning everyone. Made it through another week - feeling pretty good.
Sorry you are taking some time off Mish - I hope it's what you need.
I am just back to 3 weeks now. This is not my longest stretch of sobriety, but it is one my better ones. I've spent some time trying learn more about my alcoholism and how it not only effects me, but others around me. I've spent a fair amount of time on other threads reading and learning. I've especially spent some time reading through the Friends & Family thread, which helps me deal with Mrs. MITA and has also given me some insight into my own drinking behavior.
In the past I've been guilty of just trying to not drink, and thinking that was enough. As if I could ignore my problem, or just somehow outlast it. So far, this is working out better.
Busy day today - nice weather here - I'm gonna do good things.

Off work again today. No plans. We're having a weird weather day--high temperature is like half of what it's been for the last 2-3 weeks. And it's crazy windy, though that's nothing out of the ordinary in the early spring here. Anyways, I've got food and books and video games so I'm not planning on leaving the house.

Snow 😱 we are getting up in the 90s a few days next week. ☀️🔥 I am not ready for the summer heat!
