I do not really notice the change I still think I am the charming guy I always was lol(joke) but other family members said I was a nightmare when I was drinking and I do get on well with them all better now than I did when drinking...No more poison for me that is one thing for sure..

My best friend in any and all social situations was booze. Just to ease the anxiety of being around so many strangers and being in a role that people look to is enough to make me want to drink.

I see this as another challenge on my path to sobriety and I love to overcome challenges. Recognize the triggers and difficulties and I'll have a plan for when I get there.

You have my number love.....you can text, we can talk.....if you want to that is.....we will all be with you....this stuff can be hard indeed. And I'm not very happy that your gf left you to go by yourself....

The basics will help.....make yourself eat before you go in the morning and perhaps take some soda or something for you to drink. And soda is filling....hard to crave a beer after a couple of cokes or whatever....

Really glad you posted.....we have missed you.

Venus was thrown out in a trash can....really.....she was very damaged and very abused.....and she was a little crazy like her mum....we were well-suited. She was my wondercat for sure....best friend I have ever had. ♥
