5:41 pm in California and checking in for another 24. Spent the morning driving the girls to activities, and. volunteering at theater. After that I spent some time cleaning and watching Pretty Little Liars. I am still wondering how I got myself sucked into this high school drama, darn my 13 year old daughter!

I'm glad that I have a three day weekend, it will be nice to have an extra day with the kids, and also to get a little sleep.

I'm so glad you came back and posted Gabe. You are not destined to stay in that cycle, I can tell from your posts that you really want sobriety. When I relapsed in the past starting to distance myself from SR was almost always a sign that I was moving closer to drinking again. Stick close today, and think about what else you can add to your recovery.

You can do this Gabe!!!

Good morning fellow 24-ers! I'll check in for another day of sobriety please. I went to my cousin's engagement party last night. It was about 30 mins away, and it was amazing to be sober, to be able to arrive and leave when I wanted and still enjoy the evening. I knew that my cue to leave was when my Mum ordered her second bottle of champagne and the dance floor was getting more action than the tables were!! My boys came with me and I think they are really starting to believe in me again.. Obviously they have seen me relapse many times before but it feels different all round this time. I KNOW that my future doesn't include alcohol
