No, Leigh, I didn’t drink from it, but I “took the cure” by taking a 20-minute bath in a tub. I was relieved that the water only had a very slight sulphur smell, but it definitely was green!

You couldn't get me to taste it either

I rather dislike thinking of a casino at the Greenbrier.

It was such a dignified resort.

Great news for my Aussie guest! Her travel insurance company is going to cover 100% of her surgery costs

She was really worried that they’d decline to pay because America’s private healthcare is much more expensive than other places. For instance, her friend got injured in Thailand, and the Aussie travel insurance covered it no sweat, because costs are a lot cheaper in Thailand than in Oz.

The US, though, is the opposite.

My friend was panic-stricken all this time that her insurance company would force her to drag her broken ankle (through cramped airports and airplanes) back to Oz for surgery.

But tonight she found out the good news that she’s covered!

We are all very grateful to God!

And to add further to her good mood, it’s supposed to snow an inch or two tonight!

Too bad it’s at night, because the main thing she wants to see is the flakes actually falling out of the sky. This neighborhood is not extremely well-lit, and it’s scheduled to start at 11 and end at 6 am, so it’ll be tough to get a good look.

Maybe it’ll keep going till after sunrise.

Is there a street lamp nearby?

Nope. Just a dim lamppost in our front yard.

Her room faces the front yard. If she stays up late enough, she might be able to see falling snow out the back window of their kitchen.

I hope your friend can get a look at the snow,Gilmer.
I will be waking to at least 3 inches in the morning. And maybe 5 inches tomorrow by night. Also, so happy that she was covered on insurance.

I'm kind of beat up tonight with some back pain. I went to my parents house and my daughter and I jumped in the hot tub for an hour. I feel better but still have some discomfort.

Hope that a really good night's sleep helps your back pain, Bob.

Have you been to the doctor yet?

Not sure if that will help. I have had something going on for a while now. Pain between my should blades and right shoulder. I read that it could be strained Rhomboid muscles. I might have to see the doc, I'm not getting any relief at work. They should move me to a better job that doesn't have microscope work. But, they just don't get it. They're about to turn a good worker into somebody that doesn't care.
I will be taking Thursday off as my wife is going in for surgery to remove a port. I will take a half day Friday and then no working Sat. I have to bring my daughter to the airport to go back to college.
Busy week, and pain makes it worse.

I am so sorry, Bob. I will pray that 1) you are able to switch jobs and 2) you are completely healed.

Gilmer, pleased your friends insurance covers her. I do hope she gets to see the snow fall. I imagine she’ll be having a peek through the windows when she knows it will be snowing in the night!

Bob, sorry to hear about your shoulder, back pain. I hope the doc gets it sorted for you.

Bob, I'm so sorry to hear you're in pain. There is NOTHING worse than trying to do your job with a nagging injury.
Workplaces don't get. If it's not visible , it's not there in their eyes.
I have seen good loyal workers going from great to Idgaf.
Hoping you get some respite soon love xx

Gilmer what wonderful news for your buddy. I'm so happy for her.
I got sick when we went to UK and because Australia has an agreement with England we didn't have to pay a cent.

If I was your friend, I would be out there all night with a torch until I saw snow. We missed it by 2 days in U.K. I was devasted lol.

Well kids, it's gonna be another scorcher here today. Got up at 6 am and watered the chook pen down. They free range all day do I've dampened their favourite spots.
.
We added onto it the other day and I'm on the lookout for lawnmower catchers. Apparently they make great nests.

But for today I shall stay in bed, air con on , fan in my face as we are going to have a scorching heat wave for the next few days.

I have my iPads & phone charged up in case of power failure , which happens often here in Adelaide.

I'll be playing scrabble and words with friends , surfing the net and basically being a sloth and loving it.

Suze what a contrast we are having with our weather. Complete ends of the spectrum hey !

Leshar, can you please let me know If you got my parcel. Thinking of you every day .Love you and please drop me a message, darling one.
Miss you.

Crois, if you are reading, hi I miss you too xox
Can you send me an email, I can't find yours as it's on my old iPad.

Croutie & Mags , so glad you joined our group

Leigh, thanks for being here every day. It's always lovely to see you here.

Hi to missing friends PJ , I hope you are ok, haven't heard from you in a long while.
Pete, I'm often wondering how you are going since your relapse. How is Alexander . Would love it if you sent an updated pick of the little guy .

Wolfy, how are things with you? Would love another fly by post.

Lulu I know you read often. How are things with you and your daughter, your job and life in general. Xox

Casey , you are missed . Nikki, NCG , Huntington, Humbug & I have probably forgotten someone.

Dee always much love to you and your continuing commitment to help and care.
SR would be lost without you.

Love you all
