Gilmer, we had golden syrup on our porridge when I was a kid, nowadays I have local honey. Just had my porridge for today and feeling warm. We used golden syrup when making gingerbread or Parkin, I’m sure.

Suze, I love crumpets but don’t have them often as I love to put cheese on them and zap them under the grill. Then a sprinkling of celery salt. Delicious ❤️
