Good morning all (said quietly as hopefully some of you are enjoying a nice restful night).
Seems a lot joining the class, including me, in the last 24 hours.
Very rainy here today but I intend to stay dry.

Welcome everyone who just joined! We have a great team here. Sounds like everyone is seeing the positive results of getting past the initial days. Pinky, keep pushing my friend, just a few more days and skies will be brighter I promise. I remind myself, and it is part of my plan, to log in immediately and read posts when the AV whispers "maybe you could try it again but just not go crazy" or I have those sad thoughts of forever. That must be what addiction really is, just thoughts that appear true and trick you every time into forgetting how awful the cycle truly is. So you take the bait, and it continues. It's like an ex boyfriend or girlfriend, just remember, you broke up for a reason lol!! Rambling, so have a fantastic day and enjoy being free today!!
The first thoughts through my head this morning is how grateful I am to wake up sober. I was not so lucky yesterday morning and had to endure an anxiety filled day where I could barely think. I just shake my head and breath a heavy sigh. I feel like a broken record. I feel helpless to cravings. The power they have over me is scary. Drinking is no longer fun. It's just feeding this scary little monster in me that cannot get enough. I hate it. I hate this disease/affliction so much. Please tell me I can do this once and for all. Stay sober.
Day 2/Round 452
Day 2/Round 452
Today is going to be challenging, because I'm back at work after my holiday. It's a very stressful job and every single night I would 'reward' myself by getting totally wasted :/ But these days are over now... I can do this! It's only been a week since my last drink and I'm feeling much better already. Best of luck everyone I'm so thankful to be here!!
afternoon peeps x day 9 for me had pretty rough day yesterday but feel a bit better today. husband is taking me out for dinner which will be nice.
great job on all those staying sober again today and welcome to more new peeps x

Welcome all newcomers!! This class has been busy. Times are tough for me right now. Work is hectic and I seem to argue with my husband over every little thing. Ugh... Hope this is better soon.
Just logging on here and posting helps. Let's do this.
