No BBT for me, but I'm about to watch the season finales of Silicon Valley and Veep. I'm off work tomorrow so might put in an old movie after that. Or play a video game. Or I might just go to bed. Or I might just keep posting in here like a madman. Just in case it's the sleep option--thanks to all of you for keeping me sober one more day.
Last contest update for the day. It's still Applekat in the lead until 1:31 am when our sober neighbor to the north Samantha14 will take over until 1:01 am on Friday, June 30. As I mentioned I'm off work tomorrow so there's probably a decent chance that Sam ends up taking the crown, though I wouldn't completely count Applekat out yet. I'm feeling pretty chatty still. We shall see where the chips fall.

And sorry your visit with your high school friend is haunting you a bit, MITA. I get it--I've got old friends in similar positions. While my addiction took me to some pretty low lows, I just have to look at them now and try to remain grateful that I didn't hit those same bottoms and that I have at least found the awareness and/or desire to know my life needs to change, even if I'm still struggling to completely make those changes. Hopefully your friend will find that awareness/desire at some point too.
