BBQ Sunday.

Thought about picking raspberries tomorrow morning with the kids. Depends on the weather.

Hi all. Just been waiting for it to get dark so I can go to bed and call this day done!

The berry talk has me wanting some sort of hot cobbler topped with vanilla ice cream. Yum.

Lots of time indoors of late because of the rains and extreme humidity from Cindy. I picked up a good book not long ago though and am enjoying it very much.

I see all that rain down there, Mark. Been a wet spring up this way too. It has allowed for lots of blooms and new green growth from plants galore.

Enjoy your Saturday, team!

All this berry talk has me drooling! We have a local bakery that advertised it's special for the weekend, cherry crisp. I think this is a sign that I need to stop in for some!

So happy to hear that your checklist is moving right along, Arbor. How exciting!
And it's interesting that you mentioned the guy that had 3 drinks at dinner, Mark. Last night, we went out to dinner with a pretty large group of friends and I could tell you exactly what each person had to drink. I wonder when I'll quit noticing... It didn't bother me, no cravings at all, just something that I notice.

Anyway, Today's forecast is full of rain. I'm looking forward to a slow-paced day at home. It's much needed!
Huge hugs all around

No idea how to cope with the weather here.....it is indeed challenging.
Humidity yesterday of 96%.....I did not even know that was possible.
My entire house was just wet inside all day. Blech. But....I have air con.
And a house rather than a tiny apartment.
And awesome neighbours instead of the awful people I used to have to deal with.

Lots more has been done here decoration-wise.....in fact, there is only one or two pieces to go on the wall and this place is completely perfectly done.

Nick and I managed to get a lot of stuff wrong, and we almost went down with the ship so to speak, but looking at all we have accomplished here in this house makes me see the good. Makes me see the effort and the love we put into our home. Makes me see the determination to get it right no matter much we were getting wrong.

Human beings are complicated creatures ~ way more complicated than I ever realised. People can be cruel beyond measure and kind beyond anything imaginable. Life is filled with all sorts of unknowns. Navigating the bends and twists is a great deal harder than I knew it was. It may also be seriously worthwhile. OK. It is seriously worthwhile.

I will catch up with you all....I have been missing in action for a bit.
Glad to be found.
