Class of October 2014 Part 38
Class of October 2014 Part 38
Thank you so much sweet Leigh. I've had an overwhelming week, processing my next steps in my illness, following the surgical consultation I had on Wednesday. It's been emotional too, as I deal with my children reminding me of my failures as a mother in my time of recovery. Between Friday morning and this morning, each threw a disrespectful fit over missing pieces of laundry. Umm, the missing item this morning was a soccer shirt left flung over a kitchen chair on Thursday. Imagine that after yelling at me, trashing the laundry room, and, more disrespect, my 17 yo daughter found it in her pile of clean clothing!? I'm also feeling unloved by my husband, whose not even sat with me to discuss my surgery appointment or plan, let alone I had to go alone to the appointment.
I'm feeling very low and sorry for myself today... very lonely, and hungry, but I can hardly eat...

Your daughter's behaviour was inexcusable. And I am so sorry that your husband hasn't been more supportive. Wish I could be there to help you. Betting Leigh and the others have already said the same thing. Just love you so much honey.
Many many huge squishy hugs....OK, not too squishy, don't want to hurt you. ♥
We're looking for our next Netflix marathon. And I'm not sure when exactly, but I think Season 2 of Stranger Things starts in June. Can't wait!
The mini-series, Big Little Lies, turned out to be much racier than the book! (I was a little embarrassed that I recommended it.) There's also a lot of alcohol in it that wasn't really mentioned in the book. So if that's a trigger, steer clear.
I'm up early and could absolutely hit the gym before work if I'd hustle. But, nah. Lol
How are the workouts going, Mark? Still in it? Right now, I'm happy if I get a woggle (walk-jog) in after work. Just trying to get back into the routine of going.
Make today awesome, friends!

Hard to believe this is the 38th chapter for our Class of October 2014 story! Y'all have been a blessing and rock for me.
Today's lunch is unusually late, but gives a chance to see my son as he packs for his return to TX. Busy around here with the girls out of school so settling in to summer break mode.
Conquest, I was at the gym when you posted this morning. I love/need it. As Father Time has his way with me I guess I'll have to adjust what I do, but I don't like thinking about that! But for now, in the eloquent words of Toby Keith...."I ain't as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was".
