I'm off today with plans to prep our house for a fish fry tomorrow and BBQ with family on Sunday. JR was supposed to be cleaning his room when a neighbor stole him away to the lake to ride jet skis...lucky little guy. I could've said no, but the look on his face was pure excitement. Now the dog and I are just looking at each other like, where do we start first?!
Sobriety does rock, Leigh. It makes the little joys in life stand out more!

Good morning and happy Saturday folks.
Conquest, it's fun thinking about the summer memories JR is making. Being a young fellow with the whole summer ahead....man those were some good days! After my first round of college I lived in tx for a while and have fond memories of Lake Conroe activities.
What an electrical storm we had last night! Lost power for a while and in this sticky heat I'm thankful the ac was back running within a couple hours.
Coffee now, then gym, then dig leaves from the pool, then going to a cookout this evening (hoping there'll be a breeze blowing). House guest here too.
