9:02 in California and checking in for another 24. I'm heading back to work tomorrow after being home with my mom for a little over a week. I am feeling a little anxious because I am worried about her health, and I also have a meeting in HR because they received a complaint. I know complaints come with the territory, but it is still an uneasy feeling. I figure the best thing I can do is listen, and if I made a mistake own up to it and make a plan to fix things moving forward.
I will feel much better about getting through my work day after the meeting, which is first thing in the morning.
My mom is supposed to be released from the hospital tomorrow because they are not able to increase her platelets, and they are not quite sure what to do. She will remain on certain medications, and others have been stopped because they were causing part if the problem. She will also be receiveing weekly infusions to see if that helps.
I'm concerned because her primary doctor has put her back on medications that other specialists took her off, and there seems to be a missing communication piece somewhere.
I hope everyone here had a great Sunday. I love and appreciate all of you!
