Two years ago I drowned my grief in alcohol. Last year I was in very early sobriety and struggled through the day. Today I celebrate her life, her birth day and I thank God for her strength and for holding our family together while my father struggled with alcoholism.

Checking in for 24 hours. Yesterday did not end well. I vented all my frustrations though strangely wasnt angry. It has been building up for a very long time. But I knew beforehand it was pointless as the message will never get absorbed. That's what life is like dealing with someone who has a disorder. I am not feeling sad or remorseful as I still feel the air needed to be cleared. Oh well, this too shall pass.
Congrats to the milestoners ! Neo, you hit 100 days ! Thats totally amazing !! I am so happy for all of you !

Awe, I love that photo with the doggy. Ken & I have always had cats, some passed away before I got sober. Maybe they are in heaven sending me love ❤️. Right now Sara is in her little bed, taking a bath. One of the joys in my life for sure. 😻
