Cheers for Venuscat Part Three
Thank you my darling....we are very proud of our garden.
For me, this is about settling in and really making something special here that is tangible and visible. Lots of stuff is hard and new and scary, but I get to come home every day to our lovely apartment and beautiful garden.
We did this together, and we will do many many things together.
And I can do this ~ I can live here happily, no matter how many changes I need to deal with and become accustomed to. ♥

Of that, I have no doubt!!!!!!!
Just make sure the red lights not on on its own
Suze it looks brilliant . I love it . You seem really settled. I love petunias I love your little aloe Vera plant ! I've been wanting to get one forever.
What a gorgeous place to sit and just be .., or in my case .. to procrastinate.
I'm so happy that you & Nick are happy.
What's the weather like as opposed to melbourne Xx

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Snoozy love...and nope, it won't be on its own. No red-light district here, not at our house.
It's a little succulent rather than an aloe vera. It was in the golfball pot that Nick knocked off the fridge, so now it is outside with the lantern.
The weather is crazily like Melbourne, really. Hot as heck one day, and cold the next. Or raining like crazy in the morning, and then just gorgeous in the afternoon. Humid too, hmm, thought I would be done with that. No luck. Well, some luck, obviously because I am here with Nick.
And I am fantastic at procrastinating, really fantastic....and I am out of time for that. Tomorrow I have to put my head down and study. SO much to do.
Love you so much my darling....and sending love and prayers for you and Shaun. And I am thinking of you every single day. ♥
PS. Nick just went to the supermarket to see if they have any more of the lights....we just love them.

Dear, dear Suze: Thank you so much! You seem to be so happy with your garden and your new life. I was so worried! I have grown so fond of you and your happiness makes all the difference for me. Perhaps we shall meet, perhaps not but I want you to know that I admire you so much for the stamina and determination with which you have survived the challenge of making a new life with the help of Nick, who seems like such a wonderful man. Now all you need add is Willow. Somewhere she is waiting for you! Perhaps I can come out and see you two. But travel is a big challenge for me now and a one day trip from Boston to Washington was very difficult If I am to live longer or not be disabled in some way I must take care.
We are now working hard on our garden. Lots of lilies, a wonderful rhododendron, iris, azaleas galore, Kwan San Cherry, Japanese Lilac, Korean Dogwood, A giant elm I planted 15 years ago, now sixty feet high (so called Princeton Elm, hopefully not susceptible to Dutch Elm Disease). I have written a poem about it based on Thomas Gray's Elegy in a Country Churchyard.
All the best to you and Nick and, hopefully to Willow, very soon!
Fondly, forever
Bill and Boswell (friendly sniff and tail wag)
