Hi, dear Babs; we missed you, too. Welcome back.

Still very warm around here. Nice for me as I dont like cold weather. I know its not everyone's cup of tea. I am sorry that you are suffering Suze. I believe PJ's suggestion of a tea towel would help a lot. Any chance you can escape to a swimming pool as well ? Not only cooling but submerging under water is a tranquil experience. At least for me.

Congrats to all the milestoners ! Keep up the good work. The rewards just keep getting better and better.

Another 24 hours of tolerance, compassion and sobriety pls ! Its 9:50am here !

dear Kaneda

It's c-c-c cold tonight! Of course here in SE Texas any outdoor temperature below 80°F is considered cold. I'll spend tonight next to a roaring fire and get ready to dream some sweet, sober dreams. 24 more!!!

Bub, you left the group once. You need us and we need you, it's how it works. Stay close friend!

I'm another one who neglected my health while drinking. We have Kaiser for our bodies, thank goodness. Dental Ins. , if you call it that! Another $750 on Tuesday for a crown. A few months ago ..$1,500 root canal and then the crown! Sadly, I'm not at the end ..... wish we had a dentist in the family !

. Yeah, I'm in bed early. Too early for actual sleep, just hope I can sleep better tonight. Ken didn't get home from his meeting/dessert at cafe afterwards till 11:30pm last night. I just can't fall asleep till I know my family is safe at home. But, then my body decided to watch the clock turn 3:00am...ugh....

Delilah, I'm loving tonight's cake, just delicious! Mmmm...cake and a cup of sleepy tea would be nice. The only tea I have in the house us hibiscus 🌺. Will that help me sleep or keep me up? Anybody know?

I'll check in for the next 24, I love my sober days & nights, thanks AA, SR, and HP!

Bobbi, I think hibiscus tea is kind of stimulating. How about honey and lemon in hot water?

I'm ready for another 24 hours sober.

7:02 PM by the fire.

HI Coldy,
Yes, I have those 2 ingredients. I had the hibiscus from when my Mom was here in October. I need to restock with nighttime teas. During the day I just like my "bubbly water" aka Arrowhead plain sparkling water or equivalent.

Another 24 please
Yesterday's warm gentle rain turned into a torrential downpour with flooding. And still it was warm and humid!
