oh man Toots on the wrong side of the road ! that had to be a challenge.
Went to the Dr. yesterday and going for a bone scan today they call it a Dex scan.
I also have inflamed esophagus so got pills for that ---Ugh---gosh I hate taking pills. also had lab so, will take it one day at a time.
Enough of me---how are you guys doing?

Another reason I am happy I left South Florida,
I just spent two hours doing yardwork and playing with the dogs, never broke a sweat, If I was still in Key West, I couldn't have lasted 15 minutes.

ha ha your right Ken---my best friend lives there and she
says pretty much the same thing. They also have a place In Minn.
at the lake and I believe they are in the process of selling that.

Ken, glad you are happy with your change of venue. If global warming gets much worse, you might end up here in Maine and I'll be up in the not so frozen tundra.
Babs, I've had multiple DEXA scans. Much of their usefulness is in multiple scans over time that they can compare to baseline to determine rate of bone loss. Last time I tipped over into osteoporosis by just a little. Now I know I have to be careful to avoid falls!

hi guys doing very well---I went to AA yesterday and you know what? I don't have it bad at all---What was I thinking? There are a lot of people out there with a lot of real problems. It just makes me appreciate each day I have sober all the more. Nothing new with me. How are you guys ?

Yeah, my day got screwed.
Our owner informed me today that he would be out a couple of weeks getting surgery. I think he's literally falling apart now.
i went to the river park after work. It takes an hour to get there in afternoon traffic. It was worth it. Walked among the fields and trees. Played with other peoples dogs. Sat by the river.
On days I have a lot of contact with Owner I can get really melancholy. He is dying. We commiserate about our aging aches and pains but I'll outlive him. He will never live to be my age.
Anyway, I had a nice walk by the river. Sad, and happy, and everything else.

Trach--sounds like a peaceful day.
Getting ready for the lakes. I guess there is going to be a football
party with lots of food. as I have said before they no I don't drink and
are great with that.

Trachy, days like that it can be easy to just see the down side of life, it is extra important on those days to focus on the things you are grateful for. I know that can sound trite, but it is important to always look for those positives in life that can lift you.
