Hi ! How is everyone doing? I have a few floaters today and go in for a recheck this morning. Everyday i'm sure my sight will get better.
Had a disagreement with H last night. Grrrr. I wanted a drink so bad I could taste it. I know that's not a reason to give in and I know it well so, I just walked away and told myself it's just not worth it. and it worked ! !
Glad to be here and telling you I did not drink.
luv you guys---have a good day

You too Dee.
I have sober company this weekend, a friend from where I used to live when I met the present Mr T. This friend used to have a drug habit and was on a prescribed replacement for years and years. She also drank a constant drip feed of alcohol and dealt a little dope to keep her in drink. It was only after I kicked the first Mr T into touch and she &I went on a holiday to Egypt that she realised she was an alcoholic. She became determined to stop and went into rehab, mwhere the pills they gave her almost killed her. It was an unpleasant experience for her, but she is now 14+ years clean and sober, mand her live has completely turned around.mshe drives, owns her home, works, and is about to go to college on an arts course. Her son who used to worry to death about her is so proud of her. I am too.

I really need to keep my phone with me at home, I let Jezebel out when the cows came by. we went to the fence to see them up close and there was Max, hanging out with one of the cows!

Oh my - Max sounds like a little character :-)

I just went through veterinary he-double-hockey sticks with my kitty. She is 17 and has become incredibly loud. Vet thought there was something nasty wrong and about $600 later it looks like kitty is probably just getting hard of hearing! Ouch...

Those vet bills can be ridiculous, last year my friend Tracy thought one of her Chihuahuas was badly hurt. 750$ vet bill later, the dog had gas

Good to hear that others have seen this :-). My previous cats didn't do that. Vet also raised the possibility of arthritis and I've been watching. I noticed that she now doesn't always make it when she tries to jump onto the bed.

Yup, I truly hope that no one who was struggling couldn't get help yesterday, I remember one particular time I truly needed someone to talk to and tha fully there was someone here.... Not sure what I would have done if I couldn't have logged on. I guess it proves the importance of having a personal tool kit and not being overly reliant on the one source.
Really, considering, it's amazing there aren't more tech issues.
