I'm upset.
The non-human being who abused Vcat when she was a baby did a lot of damage.
She has balance issues that are getting worse, and she has a head shake now.
I am not going to/wanting to do invasive tests (brain scan etc) on her...she is nearly 13 and a half.
I am not sleeping.

I'm not a vet but it could be something as simple as an ear infection, V.
I understand not wanting to do invasive tests etc but it might be good to touch base with your vet and rule out the most obvious causes?

(((VC))) and (((VKitty))) she may have had a rough start in life, but she has the best mom in the world to her last days in it.
Mags how frustrating - I hope she is feeling better and that you are soon able to visit her. I hope you get better soon too.
Itchy how is the flood recovery going down there for folk?

Eternal wow, what an amazing experience! Good to know some of the guys who hit the big time still have some humility in them, sounds like a real king.
I am still feeling sh1te, and today am working a clinic on my own because the other girl who is perfectly well has to take a day off because her child is poorly and she has no one else to mind her. Of course I feel for the bairn, but I also feel a little annoyed at being left in this position. Oh well, grit my teeth and get on with it.

Ah toots, love you....that's not good that you're stuck there on your own today when you're sick, but nice of you to understand.

(((V))), so sorry to hear Vkitty is having problems. My little Sassy-kitty had a very rough start in life, too and I still see the effects and she is almost 17. She is a little love and I don't like to think about the future. I simply love her today.

Venus, sending hugs to you and V-Kitty. I had a cat that I rescued after I saw a car drop him off when I was a kid. He was nearly 15 years-old when we had to put him to sleep...one of the saddest days of my life. That was over 25 years ago and I still miss him to this day.

We had another rain/snow mix here yesterday...I'm ready for Spring any day now!
