Me, I'm from Ireland. Had last drink on 16.03.16 so I was sober for St. Patrick's Day, how ironic

Day 19 (I think) tomorrow.
I was born in London and now live with Mrs H and two kids in Sydney.

Hello everybody day three here.

Hello Lillian you sure do know your poetry, that one has always been one of my favorites.

Caseyw yes I'm back on the road again. Headed to California. I hope you're having a good day, drinking dreams are bad at least it wasn't a pee dream

Justquit Way to go on 19 days

Rah555 I am right there with you being mad and disgusted with myself. But just remember accidents happen everybody slips from time to time you haven't thrown everything away.

Samantha the AV is great at making people mad. But were stronger then any silly voice in our heads.

Kiki of course you can stay here we're here to help each other. I promise it will get better.

Forabetterlife way to go on the 5K burn that extra energy. I do lot of cycling and hiking and paddling to help burn off the crazy.

Clearlyheaded sorry to hear about your bad day.

Hello Dee

Hugs Phoebe

And hello to anybody that I missed.

Hey you big silly. Falling off the horse happens, it's getting back on again that's the important bit.

As you can prolly tell from my posts I've had a bit of a catch up. It's 8am my time.

Welcome to day 11. I made a sourdough starter yesterday which is gently bubbling away in the kitchen. I'm hoping to get out into the mountains for a cycle today to take my mind off things as I think the cravings might be bad today.

Hey everyone ~~~ ordered takeout earlier and my AV was tempting me to have a glass of wine while waiting for the food.....knowing damn well it wouldn't be just one glass. Luckily I resisted, but there's always that nagging fear that I will eventually slip up. ODAAT, right?

Glad you're all here

Thx guys. I really want to stay sober...I want it more than anything. The cravings I get are CRAZY!

Sometimes I wonder if I will ever get to the other side. :-(

It's hard KiKi0615. If it was easy we wouldn't be here!

The cravings are just the worst. I am craving really badly right now too which is why I need to get the washing on and get out for a ride.

This is what I plan to be cycling over in 2 hour's time:

That's awesome, horse staple.

Kiki, you'll get it. Just make sure you keep trying. Keep working what you know, it will happen. You're not crazy. Alcoholism is crazy.

Purple, way to flex those sober muscles!

Thank you. I'm feeling better now. I'm at swim with my daughter and we're going to hang out in the family pool for a bit after her lesson. By the time we get home it will be near her bedtime so I can settle in for a book and a bowl of ice cream.

I know what you mean, Kiki. Didn't something specific trigger you or did autopilot kick in?

That's beautiful, horsestaple. I'm a cyclist too,but there's nothing that inspiring to cycle over around here. Lots of flat straight space though.

horsestaple, that is beautiful. I don't like where I live AT ALL. I can't wait to go back home (New Jersey). I know Florida seems all Disney and sunny skies, and it is , but 's HOT most of the time, hardly any seasonal changes, and just little or no culture/ traditions. Not my cup of tea.

Hi Guys. I'm from March 2013.

You are forever Marchers. Whenever you need help, find any other Marcher. Marchia in Aeternum Marchers Forever.

I went off the reservation for over a year. When I finally came back, I tried to start all over with a new class. My original March 2013 class found me and demanded I come back into the fold. I did and have been blessed by their love and friendship.

You are always a Marcher. Never forget to lean on us.

Checking in before I go to sleep. I followed through on all of the goals I made today. Did well with my eating. Did not drink. Went to the gym and went on the elliptical. And only had one snack tonight. Walked 11.106 steps today. Hope I feel better tomorrow.

Great job, rah555! One day at a time, we've got this. I try to set myself some manageable daily goals every day as well, but I do also keep in mind that the only goal that I 100% must fulfill every single day is #1: Do not drink. Every thing else is just frosting on the cake.

Thanks for checking on on us, trachemys and Saskia. You two are absolutely right--once you're a member of this class, you always are a member of this class. No matter what. Heck, I'm a member of three different classes here including this one.

If you've been drinking and have been afraid/embarrassed to check in, please please please take that step forward and do so. Get back on the road of recovery. We're stronger together. We all have been in your shoes before.
