I've been volunteering at a charity shop for the past year and a half. I do get paid work there when I'm covering, but I put in a lot more voluntary hours. I love it there, I've made some great friendships. I'm lucky they're still letting me in the place after the past few months... I want them to get used to seeing me sober now.
You must have a beautiful giving heart to give so much of you and your time... your friends I'm sure will be so happy to see the changes you have made.

1045 in Amsterdam. Having a nice time so far. One of the girls barely drinks so my AV is isn't too bad- it's not like everyone's getting drunk around me.
It's weird people seem to drink less when I'm not drinking with them! Probably because I was always filling their glasses too to justify having more wine myself
