We are so glad that you are here, erfra; it wouldn't be the same without you.

It is going to get better, erfra. Stay close.

I totally get this. I have long periods of time where I'm alone. At first I'd think "hey, I can drink during those alone times, then quit when everyone is here." That didn't work at all. I was so focused on when I was gonna be alone again so I could drink that I didn't enjoy anything or anyone. It was miserable. I was miserable. Now I use those alone times to do things I like - read/exercise/projects - to make me a better person so when they are around, I'm at the best I can be. Yes, the loneliness is screaming LOUD at times, but I just dive in more as an investment for when my family is around.

I'm so sorry you are/were hurting so much. Sending hugs and prayers.

Thank you for your reply I don't really drink on my own but go out in town. I have loads of things to keep be busy but if I get bored I think go for a drink but ends up been 2 or 3 day binge.

Just saw this on another site and seems to fit us. We are building a better US. How cool is that? "Don't be afraid to start over. It's a new chance to rebuild things. This time better. The way you want it. — Unknown."
