Called the kennel I have the kids boarded at , Jezebel ate through her cage and is now staying at the owners house in a padded cage.
Brother is doing OK, been going with him to radiation treatments, He's not having any side affects yet.

Oh my, Ken - sounds like Jezzie really misses you :-)
What I've heard about radiation treatments from friends who have had them is that after some number the fatigue can set in. I'm glad you can be there for your brother!

Mum actually did it! She gave me what I wanted for Christmas. Six months ago I suggested to her that she write down everything she knows about people in multiple generations of our family, she has researched my maternal and paternal lines hundreds of years back plus Mr Marcher's a very long way.
Well she kept doubting herself and trying to write a novel but she ended up simply writing notes on each person she knew something about -- which was exactly what I wanted. A week ago she asked mr Marcher to take her shopping as it "wasn't enough for a present"! He encouraged her on and it's brilliant!
This is gold for all those people related to us who are researching family history, I'll be making good use of this when I work out the family history stuff online. You can't buy this stuff in a shop.

Toots there is a whole line in my maternal side who lived in Forfar, Glamis, Airlie, Tealing and Arborath prior to emigration! One wife refused to come out here so he brought half the kids, she kept half, then each (illegally) married someone else. I suspect that arrangement was more common than rare.
Budd, I shudder to think of traveling on Christmas Day! I'm sure Jezzie and Max will be delighted to have you back.
Marcher, fascinating stuff about ancestors - we never know what we will find when we start digging
Have a happy and safe day to all.
