A man shared tonight -
spoke of a ribbing he took
once at a meeting
An old timer snarked,
"You're not so happy, joyous
and free now are you?!"
Was he telling us
in not so endearing terms
that our jig is up?

i told my boss my
job no longer aligns with
my strengths and talents
he answered his cell
during the conversation
then i walked away
they won't fire me but
they know i'm on my way out
sooner than later
and then maybe they'll
recognize my value when
they're doing my job(s)
