So I'm back on wellbutrin. That's good for me. Seems like I'm a little irritable or short fused on it though. Hoping that's just early side effect as the meds set in. Or maybe it's not the meds at all. We'll see. Time will tell.

In the meantime, it is helping with focus. I'm also preparing to quit smoking this month, wellbutrin will help with that as well. I'm going to use the patch this time. I quit before cold turkey. Don't think I'm up for that action.

Looking forward to another sober week.
Hope ya'll have a great day!

None for me today.

Hi all, I've not checked in for a while, but I am still here, going strong after my 6th sober weekend. We went out to a fundraising lobster dinner and it was really fun.

It was clear to me this weekend that the people who abuse alcohol are the minority. There were a small handful of people who were drinking to excess, and they were loud and obnoxious. They were the ones offering to buy drinks for everyone and being turned down repeatedly. It was interesting to watch.

Take care everyone, and welcome back KeeKitty!
Don't ever give up.

Hey cauliflower! 6 weeks for you too! Excellent.

Drunk watching is a bit of a double edged activity for me! I oscillate between "thank god that's not me" and "oh my god, I can't believe that was me (cringe)"

Congrats to everyone! Hey there Cauliflower=) I would agree drunk people are pretty obnoxious. I'll be at 4 weeks in a few days!

I had my last final this morning. Now I have some free time until next week. I know if I am home alone I will drink so I plan on staying with my grandparents. Hope everyone is having a decent Monday. Funday Monday, right?

6 weeks 1 day for me. Good days and bad days but I will not drink today. I also just started Wellbutrin last week it seems to give me more energy but am also having a hard time getting to sleep at night, but then also quit taking Valium about a week ago too.

Congrats on the forty three days PP. Hang in there, you're doing fabulous. Getting to fall asleep easy took me sometime. It will come. Especially after Valium.

Hi all.. what is Wellbutrin? I am still nicotine free but the AV is damn loud and won't get off my back. I need additional support to shut the alcohol AV up? I am wobbling big time and I am saying it here...Help! I am being triggered by things going on with my ex-husband and I am very close to caving in....

Time to dig out the emergency tub of ice cream and think about halt and what you could do to remedy those triggers. I recently had to deal with some heavy stuff and AV got right into me but....it does pass!

Come on Martina! You can do this!!!
