I dunno it's that people are self involved. I certainly don't think it's noone cares.
It is easy to miss one post though, and I did - I personally apologise.

I missed the post but i think your being really unfair calling us self involved

Happy Memorial Day.
I'm hanging out in the screen house with the pup. It's a cool cloudy day with an occasional shower. It's a nice day to relax and reflect.
Went to visit my grandmother/grandfathers grave site yesterday.
She passed away this past Feb. There was so much snow we couldn't even do the grave site service.
I plan to do a little cooking on the grill in a bit. The weather is suppose to clear.

If I missed your post I appologise , but I have also mentioned you many times without a response. I have asked how you are going etc, I assumed you never answered cos you had moved on.
I love our little bunch & we have done nothing but support each other.. I would agree that I , personally may have been a little self absorbed of late re my granddaughter , but I come here where I'm safe & can unload to my friends here
Sometimes we just need to feel heard.
Today my darling Julyers , I am picking up my new cat . She is an ex breeder Devon Rex . She will finally have a good home indoors with me and my tribe.
I'll try to post a photo but I only know how to do it properly by Avitar .
Bob , what a nice visit to your grandparents , I'm sure they watch over you xxx

I'm sorry you are thinking of leaving SR. I too, missed that post you spoke of. It must have been exhausting, physically and emotionally moving.
I've been in hospital with severe depression but I refused ECT, shock therapy, but I feel no better. There's no answer, I just wish I would die in my sleep and have it over and done with.

Congrats on 22 Bob
Ordered a new king size bed, we've been saving for ages. Since i got sober there was only 2 mattresses after the fire, no beds just 2 mattresses... i have been sleeping on the worse off mattress
Ive been really embarrased about that but in a couple weeks me & mrs sw will have a brand new bed
Il be decorating the room next week
Also im waiting to hear on getting some counselling or psychotherapy to help with a few issues im ok but i know by doing this im staying on top of my sobriety

Thanks snoozy and Wolfy. It's been a long but happy recovery.
I wouldn't be where I am without the support of SR and this class.
I have been thinking of a new bed also.
Would love to get a king size as well. I loved sleeping on them when I used to travel frequently for my old company.

I'm just sitting in my screen house enjoying the day.
A few years ago I would have been drinking and eventually passing out.
It's so nice to enjoy the world we live in sober. It's really a blessing to see the world as it is. It's sad to think of so many people that seek escape or try to enhance their surroundings with drugs or alcohol.
You know, living life straight up has it's highs.
Perhaps I just needed to grow up.
