I had a movie marathon this weekend, Gloria, Remains of the Day and Requiem for a Dream.
Gloria, I felt like the main character was drunk all the time....it was really not the movie I expected, but a good deterrent to drinking! Oh, that dopey looking round the room....
Requiem for a Dream. I've heard it mentioned here on SR. a bit....even though it's about drugs....it's addiction and everything that goes with it. When Marion is searching her home for any scrap of drugs...ugggh, I can remember that panic too.
I must say, that is when I really do appreciate being alone, because I can watch what I want, when I want, lol.

LOL thank you Julyers its been a bit hectic this weekend i can honestly say i am knackered my elbows knees & arms hurt as i dont have power tools and ive been fitting everything manually....its a good tired that i am grateful for

Hi all -
Very busy at work these past two weeks working on the part of my job that I despise. Ugh! Taking work home, worked both Saturday and Sunday last weekend.
This is a difficult weekend. My ex's family always has a big party this weekend every year and while I am a gazillion times better off without him I do miss his family. They were just wonderful to me. It makes me sad.
On the plus side two of my fav tv shows are on tonight, Orphan Black and Outlander. Looking forward to veggie on the couch with the cats.
