Well, when I posted about the birthday weekend for both myself and Seraphina, not only was it a milestone for her, turning 1, I also had a milestone... I actually turned 60 myself. It was so shocking to me that I could not even post about it... where have the years gone? Anyway, maybe we are the senior citizen's thread?

Do we get a senior discount on our subscription to SR???

I don't know about anybody else, but when I look in the mirror, I look a heck of a lot better than my grandmother did when she was in her early 60's... or is that just an illusion????

Celebrate the milestones, Marchers, lots of folks never get the opportunity.

That said, aging is challenging because I feel so much younger than I look.

A friend was lamenting his invisibility to younger women (he’s my age, 54). I remembered the Doonesbury comic strip and asked him how many women in their 50’s he gave the eye to when he was in his twenties. Long story short, he didn’t find my comment particularly helpful.

Glad for your payday VC and hope the situation gets rectified.
