Class of April 2015
Hope I can join in as well. Yesterday was another day 1. Can't believe it, I was doing so well but had a three day relapse after more than 80 days. I don't have any support at home so here's me reaching out.
Tweaking my plan now. Trying to figure out what made me slip up.

I'm back at work after a week off. That is why I'm on day 3 now as I started my holiday full on. Clearly work is a massive trigger for me as it mentally exhausts me and I'm sure I would drink tonight if I hadn't posted here.
Normally when I seriously try to get sober its after something "bad" has happened. This time it's just an awareness that I can't continue binging at the weekends as well as the odd week night.
I always feel stronger and more confident of success after getting through my first weekend.
Writing my thought here does help.

Hi Midton, well done on three days! You stopped before something bad happening, which is wonderful!
Do you have a plan to mentally recharge after a hard day at work? I agree that posting here is a great start. I usually don't feel like writing on my bad days, which is when I need it the most, so I'll be exploring that.

Actually, I do think I'm in.
I was just kinda waiting around for this to happen, but just woke from a nap, and it's quite obvious my body is shutting down on me again. Going back to bed with a bottle of water.
Gee golly, I can't wait to start throwing up every few hours, start shaking, get headaches, feel very fatigued, and more! So much fun...

On the days I need to unwind I have little so I normally go buy some wine or ask my wife to pick me up a bottle. This tends to be once during the week.
I home now though and feel great. Waiting always works. The desire passes, almost without me even noticing. I just wish it was Monday with a sober weekend under my belt.
I would love to be a part of this class. Even though I haven't drank since last Saturday. I'm still having some withdrawal symptoms. When I got up this morning, after a poor nights sleep, I couldn't understand why I felt so bad. But then it hit me. This is withdrawal!
