LLG6 - congratulations on the pregnancy - no better time to stop. I remember being pregnant and my body totally di not want to drink - I didn't have a problem back then so it was no big deal not drinking for a year. Wow can't believe I just said that - not an issue not drinking for a year.
Well back to work tomorrow. To join the presentation discussion - I used to have anxiety but have gotten used to presenting over the years to smaller audiances. Wednesday I present at a Town Hall meeting - only 10 min but yeah a bit stressful - I hope we all make it through this week okay as it seems to be a tough time (3 months) to get by based on the posts lately.

presentsations..I speak at meetings and present information to small groups of teachers/parents all the time (I am a speech pathologist). That being said, still get butterflies at times. Some groups are tough. I have 3 today and 4 on Wednesday.

good morning, made it through this weekend, had a tough moment but survived the temptation s of my AV. Darm AV, can really ruin a good thing going. I was able to cross off several tasks on my 'to do list' this week end. Pile of cloths to take to goodwill. yeah!!!
68 days-going home in may/june (dakota's) for a few weeks, diet and new clothes, i started exercising yesterday, about 500 jump roping...that got my heart going
I feel i can say anything to you guys without being scrutinized.
My meditation for the day is to keep Gods appointments.

not in a good mood this morning, sister dynamics can be very powerful. My older sister is ignoring me. We have very different politics, different personality, different lifestyles so why do i even bother. We have a family text and she is obviously ignoring me, my other sisters try to make up for it, they state, "she is always like that, do not take it personal." But I do...

Off to work, 12 hours days are rough, but i get wed, thurs, fri off.

Good morning. I have been very busy at work, but I made it through it OK. Things should slow down a little bit now. Yesterday I did want a drink bad but I made it through it OK.
Today marks two full months sober for me!!!
Congratulations LLG! Glad to hear you are starting a new streak. This can be the time you quit for good!
Good job everybody for the hard work we are putting in to stay sober even through tough times. We can beat this!

I don't own a gun but am armed with my cleaver tongue as I see you are with your wit.
Sister - Politics and religion – ugh – my politics are very different from my only sisters so it's best if we don't discuss. As I get older they are changing and getting a bit more moderate ans I believe hers are as well but we still don't discuss.
And my sister and I were estranged for years as there was a big fall out with her and my partner. I'm patching things up now now by visiting her alone and have told my parter that I'm going to have a relationship with my sister if she likes it or not. Sisters can be frustrating and infuriating but not having her in my life for years was really bad. I hope she comes to her senses and starts talking to her again.

I get on with my sisters pretty well these days ( still remind my older sis that her nickname was Morticia from time to time)
SisterB/Lovehoops - that bucket list is quite hard. I really must have no ambition left
An affair with Scarlet Johannson is probably out of the question.
Would like to go to Brazil & India and would like to go for a ride on the Orient Express (without being murdered thank you)

I've always wanted to go on the Orient Express too Saouchick. I love train journeys and cruises. Not so keen on flying though.
Yeah the cricket was a nail biter at the end. We needed 10 runs from 4 balls. Daniel Vettori hit a 4 and a single and then Elliot hit a 6. We won with one ball left!! You could hear the cheers all down the street.
Sister bobby the avatar instantly attracted me as that's exactly how I felt too. Stuck in a box going round in circles (or squares). Don't feel trapped anymore though thanks to SR

Good morning. Not much new here. I mainly have a few chores around the house I need to get done before I have to go to work.
My last job I had to give training presentations for up to 50 people at a time. That caused a lot of anxiety for me too Teebee. My current job I don't have to do that thank goodness.
I'm still sober and committed to staying that way.

I would like to see the Roman Colosseum and the The Parthenon. I've never been to either country but I think seeing both of those would just be wonderful.

Good day all!
Have no idea what day I'm on. Still sober and working out. Kind of been stuck as weight loss goes but I'm still working at it and hanging in there.

blondsober-did you hear about the hiker falling to her death cuz of a landslide at Pt. Reyes. Moe and I sat on a picnic table and watched a sunset out on a steep cliff. There was a caution sign warning not to go beyond a certain point. Scary
