Happy birthday Jojo and 50 sober is great. Welcome to the club.
They were on the thread long enough for me to regard them as friends
I accomplished my task today - my face got sun - maybe a bit too much but I will not go back pale.
Sisterbobby - tenting it is so cool - I'm glad you're enjoying it.

Hi everyone Home from work again and I feel better and not so tired. Still sober and I am going to stay that way.
I don't know how the others feel but the last few people we lost really upset me for two reasons
1. They were on the thread long enough for me to regard them as friends
2. Selfishly I need other people to succeed for my own sake
So thank you Deanne & Dave for joining
I feel very much the same way.
I would like to thank everyone for posting and especially telling your success stories. They have helped me a lot. This is a great group and I am becoming more and more proud to be a part of it. I am always eager now to log on to read what everyone has to say!

Hi everyone, I'm not sure if I'm doing this right but I'd like to join in the class of Jan 2015. I've been lurking around reading your posts. Evening everyone,
Day spent chasing my own tail at work
My youngest daughter has been a naughty girl. She and two friend had a bg sign made (from where I work I might add - I wondered what she was doing). Anyway the sign said "Welcome to Romford - twinned with MORDOR" with a big burning eye underneath.
Romford is near to where she lives. Made the local paper apparently
She'll get locked up ha ha

Saouchik I am a Kiwi now but was actually born in Arbroath and came to NZ when I was 16. I support Scotland in the cricket and rugby etc until they get knocked out and then I become a Kiwi again, ha ha. Amazingly after 30+years in NZ I still get called pom
I am so happy to have found this great site and feel so confident I will stay teatotal with support and friendship from all of you.

Catching Up
Hi Jans,
I'm alive, just had a lot of work and a birthday weekend (for me) with
the kids. They were actually very sweet, for the most part, which hasn't
happened in a long time. I'm sure it has to do with them being able to
count on me.
I still get urges, esp. when GF is bitchy, but instead I just eat something
tasty. But that means I have to exercise more. And more. And more.
But that's better than the alternative.
Still catching up on all your great posts....

home, i did some soul searching and im still confused, but i am just going to hang and no major changes for a year. Moe was the best companion ever, didn't complain one time and didn't get motion sickness. He is a very quiet dog, for a little dog, not a yapper, was able to hide him from host, no problem. love my little friend...

Hi all,
Another day at the beach and we definately got sun. Hitting a butterfly garden tomorrow with the girls to keep the out of the sun. Partner and son are flying back tomorrow for sports related stuff and I'm staying with the 9 and 7 year old and flying back on Thursday.
Today while jet skiing we saw some sea turtles (well I think they were basically I saw a brown oval shape in the ocean when we drove by on the ski that dissaeared when we got close so I'm calling it a sighting. It was cool and the first time I jet skiied (at the age of 52) so I'm proud that I'm trying different things. Both girls got a turn and we all had a great time.
Only some mild AV today - nothing to worry about.
Blondsober - glad you're back and thanks for checking in.
Saoutchik -I know what you mean. I stopped 1 other time and stopped posting a few weeks before I started again. Must be like a preamble to letting AV in the door. I miss Canguy, Nuke and Martina - but you're right ai really miss JackD.

Sisterbobby - tell us a funny thing that happened during camping this weekend.
Blondsober - Happy Birthday and I'm so happy the kids were nice. Tell the grumpy GF to lighten up!
