Congrats to all milestoners today. 
Had another great sober Christmas, fun with family, hugs, kisses, too much food, and no alcohol, arrived home early and went to bed sober and tired.
Another 24 is as constant as the night following the day. Do the next right thing and it just happens.

Good morning. I had a great Xmas day, and stayed away from alcohol.

Early to bed - pretty early rise for me
4:55AM with my coffee with half the sugar I've been using. Progress, not perfection. In my addict brain more is better until I'm using four spoonfuls of chocolate and a heaping spoon of Cool Whip by the time Christmas comes around every year. Cutting back.
At least I didn't go back to rum and eggnog in my coffee. That's serious progress right there.

I've been out of town and missed my check ins past two nights. In for 24 more.
I turned 40 today. This decade looks to be very different to the last. Unintentionally ingested alcohol on christmas day, there was a lot of uncooked brandy in the plum pudding. It made me feel very weird, I didn't like it. It's a reminder why I was never a normal drinker. Back in the day, 1 drink would make me feel tired and yucky. I didn't start to feel good until I had several under my belt.
