24-Hour Recovery Connections Part 29
Sorry I've been away. I've sure missed you all and thanks for the pm's! I'm here and sober for the next 24.
Mom had a stroke and a heart attack, so I sure could use some prayers. and her. Been having some trouble staying sober, but with all of your help and love, I should be able to.
thank you.

thank you.
Stay close to SR and the 24 Hour thread; we are here for you. Hugs, Aly.
Very special hugs for Aly, CSM and Venus. Caring for a suffering, ill or dying parent takes everything we have and a lot of what we don't have but somehow have to create and muster. Often times, we stop and wonder "Who cares for the caregiver?". I hope you can take some time out of each day to do something for yourself even if it is a cup of hot chocolate, 10 minutes for a warm bath, a brief meditation. And if someone asks if there is something they can do, I hope you find a way to let them, even if it is as simple as asking them to pick up a few things for you at the grocery store when they are doing their own shopping.
Prayers for you and your loved ones.

In for another 24.
Hey, exercise does help me sleep. *yawn* morning all.
The quail remind me of this little Christmas friend.
I had a battle with the drink thoughts yesterday. I actually started naming off in my head the Usernames of a lot of you, telling myself that you would tell me, "NO! Don't do it." heh heh. It worked - so thank you everyone.
Saved again. 6:21AM. I could use another 24.
