Very special hugs for Aly, CSM and Venus. Caring for a suffering, ill or dying parent takes everything we have and a lot of what we don't have but somehow have to create and muster. Often times, we stop and wonder "Who cares for the caregiver?". I hope you can take some time out of each day to do something for yourself even if it is a cup of hot chocolate, 10 minutes for a warm bath, a brief meditation. And if someone asks if there is something they can do, I hope you find a way to let them, even if it is as simple as asking them to pick up a few things for you at the grocery store when they are doing their own shopping.

Thank you Soberleigh for writing these thoughts down. My prayers are also with Aly & her Mom, CSM, & V. If we were all in a room together big hugs would be happening. You ladies are not alone. I like what Soberleigh says about taking time for yourself. We women tend not to ... I know ....but of course how to nurture when we're running on empty ourselves. Love to you all.Bobbi

Alysheba-sending prayers and warm thoughts your way for you and your mother.
Venus-I am so sorry to hear about your father. I have been through several deaths in my family in which the death was fairly slow and it was extremely difficult. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
CSM-that is a beautiful story. I am so sorry for your loss.
