Congratulations Bbf!!!

Guys I need you now. Standing at bar in wetherspoons and Av is totally consuming me and the server is taking her sweet time. It smells so good.

Pink, have some food fast!
The aftermath of drinking would be 1,000 times worse than the AV-BS you are feeling right now.
We love you! You deserve to be sober !!! Have some food and fill that belly (without overeating of course).

The cost of giving in and relapsing is gut-wrenchingly miserable. Would rather feel these uncomfortable feelings for a while sober than the excrutiating aftermath of a relapse.

I am standing tough by the Grace of God and all your support thanks so much everyone !!!!

Pink take it from someone on day 3....you know what to do and what not to do.

I agree with some food - order a yummy app or better yet skip to cheesecake.

Pink, ask yourself what are you going to do with that buzz? Just go shopping, home, etc. once you have it and leave the bar, it will disappoint you and leave empty. Promise.

Bbf that is freakin awesome!

Chris, good timing, I am having a hell of a time now for some reason too. I just basically mentally relapsed. I am missing being able to hang in bars, etc.

I forget who just said they have been traveling and are struggling and hating it. Try to remember what it was really like to wake up hungover and self loathing in a hotel bed... Remember my story with the preparation h on the eyes to give presentations? You don't want that trust me!!!

It was hobbers traveling. Focus on the person you want to be. If this were easy, we would not be here.. Nothing worth having is going to be easy. That is why we are here, keep posting.

Hobbers and Pink, hang in there! You've both come too far to go back.
Bbfly, congrats on the job! Awesome.
Penkins and Apple, great job on day 3!
Just doing a quick checkup on the team.

Pink, alcohol is just like that jacka** boyfriend we have all had. Sure, there was a reason you began to date, but all you'll end up with if you go back is the hell you finally escaped from. It's just a strong association of something you no longer do! I know you can do it!

Pink- your habits are not what they were. Wishing you courage, strength, control, and peace as you face your challenge.

Chris- you've been through this before and you've overcome. Embrace the "suck" for as long as you need to and recognize things will change and you'll be stronger for it.

How are you both doing now? What do you need from the team?

I have a one hour meeting and will check in around 5pm New England time.

Chris, I definitely deal with PAWS. Those are the days that I try to be extra generous and gentle with myself. I make sure to eat well, take my vitamins, get outside for a walk, and try to redirect my thought to helpful ones. I tend to make things too important and too complicated on these days. You are such a good friend to us, please be good to yourself

Guys and gals I am almost in tears (good tears!). I came home to find this. My wife made me double chocolate chip brownies to celebrate 80 days.
What an amazing surprise! Just exactly when I needed it too !! How blessed and lucky am I ???
I am so grateful !!!! snif, snif
My PAWS did not instantaneously go away but I must say this made my day and I wanted to share the love with you all.

Amen Brother! The Universe (and your awesome wife!) just sent you one heck of a message- when you needed it pretty badly.

You know you are going to beat this thing. Now march forward to 90. . .then Triple Digits!
