8 days sober. Dealing with emotional fallout from my trip to the hospital...Was on the subway to work this morning when i came across a scene of a man on the ground with Emergency Services helping him.
Not sure if the was drunk...or just fainted. Doesn't matter...That folks was me 8 days ago.
Off to see my doctor today. Glad to be part of the class.

Morning all! I'm on day 12. Yesterday was a good day. I've been taking care or all kinds of crap that I've been procrastinating about..... nice to be able to cross things off the list.
One thing about being sober is that I can watch reruns of my favourite shows and it's like I'm watching it for the first time again! lol
I had a few moments when people were drinking on tv where I thought about how nice a beer would be, but of course I dismissed that thought. They really know how to glamorize it.
I'm still sleeping more than usual and my sleeps are so deep and restful. I lay down and I'm out within minutes.... it's really nice. Crazy how sleep deprived I've actually made myself... you never really get that deep REM when you're drunk.
I'm a bit cranky sometimes and easily annoyed. I hope that passes soon cuz I don't like feeling that way. But I was cranky when I was hungover too so I'm just going to have to learn to deal with my emotions maturely.

Day 13... oh yes.. still edgy but nowhere near as irritable as a few days back. Didnt go to bed quite so early and slept through. I just cant believe that tomorrow will be two weeks, it's flying by, getting better everyday. So helpful to read all the posts on here, see all the people joining and see the progress you are all making, Day 13 absolutley rocks, good luck today everybody x
