I think we are about 14 hours ahead of you Ladybug. Well, I am, Snoozy is half an hour behind me. Either way, it'll be after midnight here, After your scan. Insomnia comes in handy for something, ha!

I'm going to see if I can get audio if that interview online, Leshar.

Bob...good on you. I found an old cd in my car yesterday...and right in the middle of it, I was craving a long cool drink. And the thought would not go away. I started to get worried. My mind must have wandered, then I went on to the next cd. Wasn't til later that night I remembered I'd thought it! Don't think I'll play that cd again for a while. I do remember when my ex husband went to rehab nearly 20 years ago, they advised him not to listen to songs from his drugging days.

It took me a while to catch up on all the post.
I've been doing maintenance on our vehicles and lawn mower,,ect.
Toyed around with a chain saw that my BIL gave me last Wed.

I wish the weekend didn't fly by so fast.

Thinking good thoughts for you, Ladybug.

Hello, Snoozy.

Hola, Leshar.

Hi Bob, NCG, Croissant, Pete, Huntington, PurePoison and Dee. I am sure I forgot people and I apologize in advance. I'm old and my mind is going.

Bob, so with you on the weekends going so quickly. I am already cranky in preparation for Monday morning.

Have a great week all.

Thanks for mentioning that interview, Leshar. It was really nice to hear Michael Bryant speak with compassion about alcoholism.

And wow...rage and anger...so much resonated.
I also laughed when he said everyone usually fights til the end and goes kicking and screaming into recovery.

Shark tank maybe.

It was quite a weekend.
Saturday I spent a fair amount of time outside.
But,had to also go shopping, that seems to take a while to get done.
Then goofed around a while out in my garage cleaning up.

Yesterday I took the pup for a walk. It was a cool windy morning.
Then spent 2-3 hours at a reef club meeting. It would have bored a lot of people. Bored me as well for most of the meeting. Involved the chemistry of sea water...Yipppy.

Hmmm, I'm going to leave the Shark Tank comment well alone!

What is the purpose of this said Reef Club Meeting, Bob? (I'm concerned the lively topics may well drive you to drink!)

It's a meeting that generally has a topic and a speaker.Speaker a lot of times are authors of books involving the hobby or reefs in general.
Different methods of keeping a reef tank or breeding fish or something like that.

Yesterday was blah.....blah chemistry.
I just like chatting with other geeks in my hobby.
We all talk to each other via a forum very similar to this.
I am also like Dee,a moderator on that forum. Keeping thing civil and booting out spamers...ect...ect.

Oh good. Fish geeks. Tell me this. I had a fish once. It died and was sideways on the bottom of the tank. I was too busy to dispose of it's lifeless body.

2 days later, it was swimming around like nothing had happened. Siamese fighter fish...

I must note it did die about a week or two later.

Thoughts, Fish Geek?
