bud, it's not a conspiracy. lasagnas take all day to make, by the time they are done the maker is often over it and eats some later. oh yeah, we had lasagna at Thanksgiving too. And canolis, not that pumpkin pie stuff.

Shoes - thoughts and prayers to you and your father.

I just called my dad last night for the first time since I went to rehab 6 months ago. He thought I was dead.

Yeah I suck.

On a lighter note, what did you all do for your 6 month anniversaries? I'm going out to a fancy dinner with my mom and then maybe ice cream with my AA buddies.

Ken, I know you can. I'll trade a muffaletta for a pie. I'm going to make muffalettas this weekend. I don't bake, or make desserts. But I will trade for them! Ditto on the cannolis, wehav!

digdug, I went for a run! Yay! I just had a quiet, personal day of feeling grateful to be alive and well. And, I did turn the jacuzzi on in the bath. It's the little things, right?

Dig, on my 6 month, I got my license back, beat anything else I could think of. (Also had to work that night)

Joy, sounds like a fair trade!

Joy - Only green tea ice cream. Possibly vanilla if I am being held at gunpoint.

As far as the rest, might as well just shoot me.

Isn't dessert one of the 4 basic food groups? Breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert!

You have to be held at gunpoint to eat vanilla ice cream? No offense to guns.

Joy - you have a point. I would eat vanilla ice cream at knife point, bat point, club point, or pretty much any thing that has a point.

It's not half bad.

But why must ice cream be so sweet? I'm thinking it's the sugar. Someone please confirm.
