Glad you are back Dee!
Luling, absolutely no need to apologize to us. You are doing an amazing job wrestling the beast. We are on an incredible journey and I am thankful to have you by my side here in this wonderful world of SR.

Good sober evening, boaters. Hope everyone is enjoying this lovely weekend. Lots of great posts today with wonderful advice. We have the most incredible class. I'm still feeling out of sorts and need to catch up on a better sleep. Letting my current unemployment status sink in. On to better topics...
Happy Father's Day tomorrow, or today, depending upon your time zone, to all the awesome dads here on our thread. I'll be taking my dad to the horse races. It's something we both enjoy every now and then. We'll only bring as much as we can afford to lose, which will be at the minimum for me at the present. Really enjoy getting up close to the horses as the trainers prepare them for the run.
After sponging down with a squeegee this morning, this elephant scarfed down a hearty breakfast of peanuts and got dressed with a new set of argyles for all four feet. Been busy leafing through the latest edition of "Rap Reader 101: Bag O' Clues for Nerdy White Folks" in preparation for the next installment of our East vs. West Spankdown.

Screwed up. Who is surprised?
It's my own fault.
I don't deserve to be in this group. I am such a disaster.
I am just so fractured. I'm sorry for raining my awfulness onto everyone's success. I am ruining this thread.

Hey, Payton. I'm so sorry for your pain. Please don't give up on yourself. You know we're here to support you. We've all been where you are and there's always a seat in the sober station wagon with your name on it.
You do deserve to be here. You are such an integral part of our class. Please talk this through with us. Big hugs of love and support for you.

I know the feeling of not wanting to fight it anymore. But Payton, you will learn from this. As the Queen of Screw-Ups, I can say that each slip is a lesson. It would be great if we could always learn the easy way instead of the hard way, but what matters is that we learn. It's going to be okay, we just have to keep moving ahead. :ghug3
Just a little bump in the road Payton.
I do not, will not look at you differently because you took a drink.
You are wonderful, kind, loving, intelligent, supportive and much more...
just as you were yesterday and will be tomorrow.
Be kind to yourself Payton. Stay close to us.

Was just about to say that FP. I was reading stuff for ten minutes from a week a go before I realised when someone in the UK said it was sunny! I'm so glad I didn't drink earlier, I really couldn't be bothered to change my signature Suppose I better hit the hay and finish reading my book. Night all x

Payton, you completely belong here, and the fact that you slipped doesn't mean you don't have the strength to resume heading in the direction you've been going. You've been a complete inspiration to me and you've fought hard the last 30 days. Just don't give up -- slips are part of the process. I'm only on Day 36... and I still post the occasional update in the Class of October 2011. Stick with us -- we care deeply about you and have complete faith in your ability to beat this.

Time for a new thread Mayans.
I love it! I might have to start planning the Apocalypse Afterparty for us Mayans on December 22nd. BYONAB, of course.
That last thread thing was a bug guys - I think it's ok now
Don't go anywhere Payton - where you are we've all been and it's exactly what this thread is for...
this is just a misstep...it's not the whole dance routine
