watta day...busy, warm 75 degrees today, thundershowers predicted.
I am still following Ann's amazing workout plan, so i feel pretty good. at least i am aiming for consistency. yes, i am up to a whopping 8 mins. on the treadmill, 8 push-ups on the counter, 8 sit-ups, 8 step-ups and 8 chest pres reps...oh and 8 plie squats. my main focus is not to drop dumbbells on Sammy.
at the rate i am going, i should see changes by next Easter.

thank you Ann...yes we should shoot a video of all of us complaining and belly-aching about whhhhhy can't we eat candy while we work out for "energy".
Mr. Fandy surface today with the password for the wireless router....talk about whining!!! I chuckled and didn't take his bait....i'm sorry to take satisfaction in his unhappiness, but he deserves it. pretty soon it will matter even less....I am moving up in the world.
it was 77 degrees here today...i left work early (5:15) and took Sammy for a nice long walk..we should get some rain tonight...i had to water my potted plants that are still outside. it will be the same tomorrow, then it will get cooler.

Warm weather here too. Supposed to be very windy tomorrow... hope no power lines go down. Might bring down a lot of the damn leaves tho...
Have to be up quite early tomorrow to take dk to work. She did ask in advance and she did give me gas money so I'm willing. Her attitude has gotten so much better in the last year...
One or more of the dogs are farting up a storm... nasty stinky... Too bad my furnace won't run on that gas!

I'm with you, Bam...too much whining to work out...the only place I'm losing weight is in my lips - from frowning.
Walking the campaign trail has left my tootsies tired and leg muscles aching.

Woke up out of a bad dream two nights in a row!
It felt real and I was so relieved to wake up and realize it was just a dream. At least today I didn't have a headache...
Up early today, but that's ok as I have to take dk to work in a while.

i guess this belongs in the grats thread but you all will just have to deal with it here too.
I am so durn grateful to be up at 515AM drinking coffee, walking the dog, cleaning the catbox and watching TV while on the treadmill and doing some wts....it beats the stuffing out of being depressed and barfing and drinking all night.
coffee & cat-racing beats hangovers and killing myself from drinking!
I believe the correct props for Fands & Anns workouts should include the best of both worlds......candy and fruits!

Today is my normal trash pick-up day. Yesterday was normal recycle day.
Today is also our special, yearly Fall cleanup pick-up day; nearly anything you need to chuck can be put curbside for free pick-up...(no batteries or computer stuff).
It's also a special Epilepsy Foundation donation pick-up day.
Any clothing and furniture that can be donated is appreciated and can be put curbside for, you guessed it, free pick-up.
My driveway looks like a salvage yard.
But the house is sure clean!
One week to the day for the election; voter tension and anxiety running high. Can't wait to spread my charm and optimism on the campaign trail.
Hope I didn't put my thick-skin curbside...gonna need it today.

We're about $4/gal here, Fandy, and it's been worse off and on.
Bubba drives over an hour to work but gets paid well for his travel and I drive about 5 minutes to work...so our actual gas cost is pretty low. Good thing.
HB, I hope people are nice to you when you campaign. I can lend you my steel toed bunny slippers if you like and you can just give the rude people a good shinning.
I am whineless today, but working on it.
So I will cheer you all on as my "whiner workout" today.

I just realized that there was no whining here all day!!! I'm at fault too, as I too was whine-less all day... Can't even muster a decent whine now except that it's raining and chilly... what a wimpy whine! I'm ashamed of myself...

we just have regular gallons...and we could discuss the exchange rate for $$ too.
I am soooo happy to be off from work for 2 days, yippee-skippy...i don't even care if it rains....i just want to do fun stuff!!!....maybe i will cook some lobster or king crab????
